メッセージについて

私にとって大事なことは（１）謙遜（私が高慢だから）、（２）祈りと（３）メッセージです。特に、キリスト中心のメッセージ。祈りのこもった謙虚なメッセージが大事です。

 

メッセージは、先ず、誰も見ていない個人礼拝から始まります。御言葉によって神の声を聞いて、祈りによって神に語りかけるのです。いわば、神との恵みの交わりの時間です。ここからメッセージがはじまります。

 

次は、講解説教（聖書を説明し、適用するメッセージ）が主だと確信しています。キリスト者は、人間の意見ではなく、神の言葉を聞きたいのです。でも、それは、聖書のテーマでもあるキリスト中心でなければなりません。私自身は、十字架まで必ず大事にしたいのです。

 

メッセージでは、難しいテーマ（罪、裁き、聖さなど）を避けてはなりません。でも、分かりやすいものでなければなりません。シンプルなメッセージ、RCライルが言ったように、大事です。主なポイントが一つであることは、とても大事だと思います。また、例話や適用がとても大事です。頭だけではなく、御霊に頼って、心に訴える必要があると思います。

 

About preaching

 

What I value is (1) humility (because I am proud), (2) prayer, and (3) preaching. Especially Christ-centered preaching. Humble preaching immersed in prayer.

 

The message starts, first, from private worship that only God sees. We listen to God through His word, and speak to Him through prayer. It is a time of gracious communion with God. This is where your message starts.

 

Next, expository preaching (messages that explain and apply the word) is to be the main diet of our preaching. Christians do not want to hear the opinion of man, but the word of God. But these must be centered on Christ, the theme of the Bible. I myself want to make always the cross primary in my sermon.

 

Our sermons must not avoid difficult subjects (sin, judgment holiness). But they must not be difficult, but, as RC Ryle says, simple. To maintain one main primary theme is important. And, illustration and application are important too. We must speak to not only the head, but to the heart, trusting in the Holy Spirit.
