Pray for Afghanistan…..

 

Please urgently intercede for the Christian missionaries, pastors and believers in Afghanistan. My understanding of the situation in Afghanistan is that since it is so chaotic, none of us are sure what is actually happening. We do know that the Taliban has a history of extreme cruelty, not only to Christians, but also to women and minorities. I urgently ask you to pray, knowing that God knows. It is said that over 200 Christian missionaries have been sentenced to die anytime now, by Islamists. Also it is said that a radical Islamic group has just taken Qaraqosh, the largest city in Afghanistan, with many Christians. Hundreds of Christian pastors, men, women and children are said to have been beheaded. We aren’t sure of what is actually happening. However, I am sure it is going to get excedingly dangerous for all those who do not fall into the Talibans world view. I myself have been urgently praying for the Lord’s Spirit, presence, courage, grace to abound, especially to the children and women.

アフガニスタンのクリスチャン宣教師、牧師、信者のために緊急に執り成しをしてください。アフガニスタンの状況についての私の理解は、それがとても混沌としているので、私たちの誰もが実際に何が起こっているのか確信が持てないということです。タリバンには、キリスト教徒だけでなく、女性やマイノリティに対しても極度の残虐行為の歴史があることを私たちは知っています。神様がご存じであることを知って、早急に祈ってください。イスラム教徒から、200人以上のキリスト教宣教師がいつでも死刑を宣告されたと言われています。また、過激なイスラムグループは、多くのキリスト教徒がいるアフガニスタン最大の都市であるカラコシュを占領したと言われています。何百人ものキリスト教の牧師、男性、女性、子供たちが処刑されたと言われています。実際に何が起こっているのかわかりません。しかし、タリバンの世界観に当てはまらないすべての人にとって、それは非常に危険になるだろうと私は確信しています。私自身は、主の御霊、臨在、勇気、恵みが溢れるように、特に子供たちと女性たちに、緊急に祈っています。
